I kinda took this topic off from animenewsnetwork.com but it would be interesting to see what people in this site would type.

Anyways...

List 5 worst animes you've seen and explain the reasons.

Naruto-overrated boring garbage. I couldn't get into it.

Evangelion- you know a show is bad when even FANSERVICE gets old. Then the stupid religious crap. Meh

Inuyasha- It was okay at first, then it got boring, and fangirls swoon over it, for no reason when it's one of the most poorly written animes ever and most predictable.

Fullmetal Alchemist- Ruined the great manga. Simple as that. Presents information in boring ways to me.

Pokemon- WHY WON'T IT END ALREADY?! The main character is never going to fullfil his dream because he gives away his strongest pokemon, keeping the weak ones.

i didnt create this topic to flame each other's opinions, only to see what interesting responses would show up. if u disagree to someone's response, please ignore it and move on. ~_~;

Here's my top 5 disliked animes:

Inuyasha: It was an interesting series at first. After about like 100 eps, it starts to get repetitive. The character romance barely develops and Naraku is the cheapest villian I've seen. The biggest thing that killed the series is the ending. It leaves the series incomplete. NOTHING gets resolved.

Evangelion: First time i watched it, i thought it was the greatest show ever but after watching it the 4th time, my interest level dropped way down all because of the characters. There's like no character development at all. Shinji and Asuka annoyed the hell outta me. I think this series is overrated. The only thing i did liked is the detailed action scenes.

Gundam SEED DESTINY: ohh man.. lol. This series started out UBER good. After 25 eps of it, the story becomes really gay and unoriginal. The main character decides to become "Anakin Skywalker" of gundam LOL. Most of the mecha designs were taken from the UC saga. ahh yes.., too much recycled animation, pointless flashbacks, and recaps. I did liked the first 2 OP/ED songs. Not recommended for gundam n00bs.

Soul Link: This series is for laughs. I thought this anime has a good potential since its by the same creators as SHUFFLE!. Unfortunately it turned out so bad that its so funny.

E's Otherwise: Seen this so long ago, cant really remember why i didnt like it... probably because of the screwed up ending, thats all i can remember.

Ok, some obvious and not so obvious...

DBZ, or Linkin' Bark Z in terms of amvs as well as anime. A fist fight in a mall broke out over this anime. One idiotic dbz lover tried to 'push' the anime into someone's face... Don't remember who it was that mentioned it here in the org but it goes to show that when an anime gets enough idiotic fans during mainstream, stupidity crops up like that. The ugliness of the characters and lack of well... anything useful kinda helps [put it into the bottom category for me at least ^_^]

Evangelion. Honestly, how can a series destined for greatness end up in the toilet? When the raving lunatic fans send death threats to the director and he goes insane that's how!! The so called 'explanation' theatrical releases [one of which was recycled footage], didn't help this series either... ah well. Who needs a good story when everything becomes Tang in the end eh?

Appleseed. The fact that it's only one tape long doesn't save it from BUFHALKJFOAIUSFAS;J FUGLY! On my list. Masamune Shirow did a better job with his other series easily...

Some hentai deserves to be on this list for having a nonexistant budget looking like I animated it in my sleep, but they're so bad I can't remember their names...

and my 5th bottom of the bottle anime award goes to.... Naruto!!! It's the new DBZ!! Geared toward kids!! With just as much substance, but at least it doesn't use THAT much recycled footage the way dbz does and at least the women [ok, Tsunade only, and that's just nasty if you look at her chronolgically] don't look as ugly... DOH*

1. Bobobo bo bobobo - Don't even think this counts as an AMV, but I just wanted to show my extreme hatred towards it.

2. Pokemon - Liked it when I was a little kid, but now it's just overkilled itself.

3. Inuyasha - Like everyone else, it's just gotten a little overdone. The anime was overly repetitive. Oh, and it also doesn't help with this as some of the main dialouge:

Inyasha: KAGOME!
Kagome: INUYASHA!
Inyasha: KAGOME!
Kagome: INUYASHA!
Inyasha: KAGOME!
Kagome: INUYASHA!
Inyasha: KAGOME!

4. Dragon Ball Z - Do I even need to explain this one? It tries to show little kids that they can get superpowers by screaming at the top of their lungs. Or having a tail

5. Akira - I just hated this, because the artwork was mediocre, and I hated the storyline.

Ha! I've seen every episode, and enjoyed it when I was little, but I don't like it now. You have to admit, they do yell in excess, and in the beginning and at the end (in GT) they did have tails that gave them "power".

I Never use a particular order so....

Evangelion: Its as super hyped as alot of series and yet i really dont care for it, and whats funny is, i remember hearing them scream a few times when they needed more power.

Witch Hunter Robin: I dont particulary hate it, but its just not my thing.

Dragonball GT: DB was fun, DBZ had action, But GT was completely pointless, turning Goku into a kid was lame and the last guy was really crappy, it should have been left at Z, at least it gives you some sort of satisfaction that Goku didn't use use SSJ to win.

Pokemon: It would have been alot better if there was some amount of aging with Ash considering how long he's been at it.

Dooby Bots or whatever the hell its called!: I think were all in agreement here that nothings lower than this.
