I shall note that my "Best Technical"-winning video was made entirely in Premiere 6.0 with some Photoshop CD for creating masks.

Woulda been a tie with Castor. What they do, flip a coin? Or hosting the Masq. gives him bonus points? :x

Yes, it was. I made it for the Masters at AWA 2005, but I always enter my Masters entry at AX the following year. They have no rule to prohibit it. In fact, I actually have videos from as far back as 2001 that I could enter at AX, but that would just be wrong. I consider a one-year "cycle" between the first appearance of a video and the last contest in which I enter it to be fair (to this end, AX was the last contest at which I entered "Signal to Noise").

For the record, I'm just as surprised at the outcome as everyone else. I didn't even expect to make it into the Semi-Finals, especially after "Signal to Noise" didn't make into the finals at FanimeCon. I never dreamed that I would not only take Best Drama by audience vote or Creator's Choice, but Best of Show as well. To paraphrase Douglas Adams, surprise was no longer adequate, and I was forced to resort to astonishment.

It goes to show that every contest is different, and completely unpredictable. The only person who really knows how I won is James.

You sabatoged my video! I knew you were plotting something when you helped it get exported so I could enter it. j/k

Awsome video this year tim btw. And congrats to tthe winners.

Though I'll say this now. . . . .

I'm sorry I made the internet is for porn last year!

Two videos to Avenue Q this year (even more entered according to James), three masquerade sketches to Avenue Q songs and the whole blasted convention going around with "for Porn" on their lips.

Prior to my video on the org there was ONE other video to Avenue Q. I'm sorry for this nightmare.

Though to be honest, I may not have won an award last year, but in some respects the infamy of the video is enough of a prize in and of itself.
