Honestly, I think the text kinda took away from the video itself. And all the lip flap was a bit distracting as well. Other than that, a decent first video. Keep at it.

to be honest, i wasnt trying to lipsynch at all (hence it is not part of the op rating). that seemed to complicated at the time so i was concentrating fully on trying to get the action synch looking good, and because of the fast pace of the song and amv i had to speed up a number of clips and that is why the lip flapping is on high speed

i appreciate all the comments, my next amv is going to be a trailer (of what i wont say, dont want to ruin the suprise ;p ) but it will have far less text, and maybe no lip movement at all since i cant find any good eps without subs at the moment. there fore i'll have to use subbed eps and try and only use scenes that dont have talking and therefore no subs. but i'll try to make it even better than this one.

Actually, I honestly believed it was the text that moved this video from subpar or mediocre to good. Why? Because the text was the concept. Without it, the editing wouldn't have made as much sense. This is the same dimension we've seen in, say the most famous example, doki's "Right Now Someone Is Reading This Title."

People sometimes forget that introducing text as an added effect can some times be spot on. In this case, I think the video would have failed without that element, because we wouldn't have understood the concept playing inside of Jasta's mind.

and theres a difference between "lipflap" and "lipsync"...

lipflap is when a characters mouth is running and necessairly isnt in sync to anything... its just a mouth thats moving O.o

lipsync is ovbiously when someone tries to make it look like the character is singing...

be careful of lipflap... it didnt bug me too much but thats my opinion, cause it came in at funny points and worked... its very ovbious that no lipsync was intended....

wow, i really like this amv. i think i enjoyed it a lot more because i have actually seen the anime, you might get a wtf factor from people who havnt. personally i think this was awsome, maybe the editing wasnt top notch but the concept and remembering the actual scenes just made it that much more enjoyable, good work
