Moonlight Melody: A Sailor Moon Music Tribute:
After talking with Sailor Earth, its decided that I will be running this project.
This is my first attempt at something like this,
but I believe it will turn out well if I can get enough people to participate.
This is the official thread for it so ignore the other one. (It will probally be locked soon)

Project Info:

During the many years its been around
Sailor Moon has produced many music Cd's
in various languages all over the world.
With well over 70 Cd's you kind find many types of songs
from dramatic and romantic to action and comedy.
I though it would be a great ideal to do a tribute to many songs of Sailor Moon
and have each member pick a song from one of the Cd's and an anime that can go with it.

Project Rules:

We will accept unlimited Editors in the project (This may change depending on how many people are interested)

Any skill level of editor is welcome

Each editor is allowed up to 3 songs and can use the whole song or part.

You can use a vocal or instrumental song in your video.

Of course only Sailor Moon songs are allowed.

Videos can have any theme like Action, Comedy, Sentimental, Drama, etc.
Just make sure the scenes go with the song you are using.

Any anime can be used, but the video must be able to be hosted locally
so no extreme violence or graphic sex is allowed.

The deadline for videos is Nov 1st.

Videos should be of high of quality as possible and should not have subs or logos.
Filetype should be .avi
The resolution should be 640 x 480 29.97fps and should not have any Interlacing. They should be progressive and should be compressed in Xvid or Divx at high quality.
Videos link should be submitted in a pm and hosted somewhere like megaupload.

I think you'd draw more editors if you at least had a few samples of this music up.. Not to mention some of the actual full-legnth songs since I'm sure not most people actually payed attention to Sailor Moon's music unless it was Tuxedo Mask's entrance, so if no samples you're drawing very few strings. :/

There are other projects who post up MP3s as well. Why would this project be put on the spot for doing the same?

I was unaware other projects were doing the same. They should be held to the same standard. Sharing illegal content over the forums is very dangerous territory. I am not "picking" on this MEP in particular.

I think as long as there's a stipulation that they must be deleted within 24 hours and they are only to be used for previewing purposes she shouldn't be held liable. Of course, she would have to have that written near the area where the mp3 links are ^^
