Guess it is that time again, isn't it.

If memory serves, the Perkins is always insanely busy come breakfast time. Might not be the best time/place for a get together of any real size.

Well from what I heard there is probably going to be a breakfeast at the hotel. If you guys want to hang out later on Friday or Saturday that would be cool too.

Or I could get someone with a good portion of experience under their belt to pitch in (not to slight you, it's just that panelists generally are held to a higher level of experience than the average editor). I believe Rozard is going this year, as a matter of fact. Not sure about Kwasek, but I do know that AnnaMayBelle and MaBelle are attending, and they've run AMV panels in the past (quite well, at that).

TheNanashi did the AMV 101 pannel last time which was very good (IMO). I wonder if he's still coming to this AFO.

I'll be there for the pannel. It sounds like you all have it covered well, but I'll contribute any of my advice/ideas if needed. All three of the AMVs that I've made are already in the contest though.

*shrugs* Its his panel, I let him do what he wants.

AFO has been added to the convention master sheet so if you want to add your amvs to the contest participation list thingy you can do it now :)

Man I hate making these types of decisions because I don't want to offend anybody. It so easy to have things taken the wrong way on the internet. LadyMercury I watched a few of your videos while they aren't bad but like you said they are not the greatest. I'm not the best editor out there myself. However I feel Icy Cloud and I have the panel covered. IcyCloud has the editing experience to be on the panel and has won at AFO in the past. I have been on the Otakon AMV Panel in 2004, AFO in 2005, AMA AMV Panel 2005/2006, and Katsucon 2006. Still feel free to attend the panel. If you would like I could take a look at one of your videos when we do an amv critique. Also AFO will be the only con where I'll be making a special sneak peek of my new amv I'm currently working on.

Then again the videos you're watching are videos I made three years ago :*

I'm not desperate on the spot, I just offered to be on don't act like you're crushing my hopes and dreams because I'm not on an AMV panel. Its not like its the end of the world, especially when I'm hosting panels at AFO too
