  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Do you mean in the overall vid opinion scores? For all videos that have multiple opinions, the highest and the lowest scores (I think it's for each category?) are dropped. Since your scores are the lowest the vid has so far, yours were dropped, as well as the scores on one of the straight-tens ops. The overall scores are from the remaining ops.
Ah ok. I wasn't aware of that.

Dammit, why didn't I hear of this? I would've liked to contribute

Mae are in there, and that warrants a download.
As for the whole "christian/not christian" thing; why the fuck do people care so much if they should be considered christian or not? I rarely see any debates on band's messageboard about which genre the music should be catagorized as, but ALL my bands get the occasional "is xx a christian band?"-thread, and there's always too much dissent in those. Some seem to think that it should be "christian music" if there's a christian undertone to it, or the members are believers. Others need a direct statement for the band to accept that there's religion involved. Is this all because of the intolerance most atheists have towards religion, that they simply don't want their band to be considered christian?
I know I never gave a shit; music and lyrics can be both pretty and inspiring even if you don't believe.
Sig pending

yeah if this goes well, if more people are willing to contribute (I would use either POD-The Messanjah or Demon Hunter-Undying), would there be a sequel?

No, we're not planning on making a sequel at the moment. I would've liked to see those tracks done, though.

While I think most of the editing here looks nice, I didn't care for a couple of the songs that were used. "Celebrate the Child" and "Days of Doom" didn't seem to fit as well with everything else (same goes for my track, actually), but I think they *did* add a little more variety.

Overall, I really did enjoy being a part of this MEP, and the final video looks wonderful. My favorite tracks would have to be Peacemaker Kurogane and Escaflowne :)

It was also nice to hear more Christian rock bands. Being a Christian myself, I wasn't really aware that there were good rock bands out there, as I'm used to hearing the "cheesier" stuff my parents listen to :P

I'll have to hunt down some of these albums now...
