How am I able to caputre video or download some anime? Or will a graphics card work with my satelitte connection? :?:

First, Never ask about downloading, i'ts against the rules and the #1 unforgiveable sin here.

Second, if you have a dvd drive you can rip your own dvds, just check the guides. http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ and check the forum stickies and the hundreds of other posts asking this. you will find most of what you need there. It's a lot to read but it will really help you.

Oops, sorry. I didn't wan't link or anything. I just need a way import episodes from a DVD, or do I need that stupid remote card to record episodes, and I don't even know if one of those work w/ my satellite dish.

Heh. I never seen any posts on recording episodes straight to your computer for use in AMVs, although I guess if you want you can go that route (couldn't tell you how though). Other than that, check the guides that oldwrench kindly linked for you

To record episodes directly to computer, you need a TV tuner card or video input card. I have an ATI all in wonder card and can record TV directly from cable or record from a vcr or dvd player.

Technically (although not in the common sense), one COULD call ripping DVDs "downloading" as you are moving data. I think that's what the OP meant.
