Trailers for Negima (the first series which lots of people shunned its existence), Tsukuyomi ~ Moon Phase, and Basilisk are now available!
Just a few comments on them. The designs for Negima look kinda of sucky, but the English dub sounds rock solid. And yes, Greg Ayers attempted a Welsh accent on Negi.
The MoonPhase trailer.....wow! They REALLY made it seem dark and action-packed which by the way is the half-truth. I can't wait their reaction once they first see the OP sequence.
The Basilisk trailer looks really bloody and very badass though it sort of reminded me of Ninja Scroll.
New trailers from FUNimation....

So is Moonphase actually more of a comedy? Slice o' life? Romance? I'm probably going to buy it just for the cute vampire girl but it would suck (no pun intended) if that was the only thing there was to enjoy about it.
Basilisk looks pretty wicked. Was that one guy in the trailer spitting needles into people's heads? Ninja's with uber powers may be a little overused but this looks not bad at all.
Hate the character design on the main female though. Don't know why exactly but I just do.
Negima. . . .
Yeah, I'm just going to leave it at ellipsis points.

There are comedic episodes granted (they're quite funny, BTW), but I assure you there are a few dark, action-packed episodes ala "Soultaker" style and some really dramatic episodes that might leave you speachless.....Richard J. wrote:So is Moonphase actually more of a comedy? Okay, I'm sold! Thanks for the explanation. I've basically been thinking of getting this one since it was announced but have been spending money on completing some other series.angelx03 wrote:There are comedic episodes granted (they're quite funny, BTW), but I assure you there are a few dark, action-packed episodes ala "Soultaker" style and some really dramatic episodes that might leave you speachless.....
My poor credit card.
