i already said that the content is the same, but you see it sounded like you were complaining about running time versus story progression, not actually progression of time inside the anime, in that case, yeah, duh, they take the same amount of time inside the anime to progress an event but that doesn't mean the manga and anime will take the same amount of time to literally progress through, i can read up to a certain point in the story in the manga a LOT faster than if i was sitting there watching the anime, THAT'S what i thought you were discussingPurge wrote:lol does that have anything to do with the content.Daio Kaji wrote:
the story moves quicker when you control the pace of your reading
(not that you should read faster than what's natural)
The manga's basically the same as the anime minus the fillers
thanx for being the bigger man

the first thing you wrote was that the manga is better because you can control the pace at which you read. I just dont agree that the speed at which you read a manga would make make it a better product. I dont wanna debate, books vs movies.

Although I could be wrong here I believe that he's probably saying that an equivalent number of episodes in the manga contain more story and character development than the anime.Purge wrote:stuffDaio Kaji wrote:stuff
Unfortunately, the manga MUST be taken into account with the anime, since essentially the only reason that people know that the story is on hiatus is that it is divergent from the books. Knowing that the story has progressed in interesting ways, while the show is treading water fuels a lot of angst about the show.
Wait.. are you guys essentially saying the same thing here? Seems like it.

possibly - i guess what i am getting at is if you couldn't get into the anime then I doubt the manga would interest you.madbunny wrote:Although I could be wrong here I believe that he's probably saying that an equivalent number of episodes in the manga contain more story and character development than the anime.Purge wrote:stuffDaio Kaji wrote:stuff
