Well Godix, I see what you're saying... but it is fun to have a little competition in the whole thing. And I don't mean like we should have "leagues" or something, but as a creator its a good feeling (I assume) to get your video in the top 10%!

If people want to compare OP scores and see who gets better ones, you shouldn't criticize them so much. If people don't care (like you obviously), then let them don't care. Of course it's not gonna cure cancer, rid the world of sweatshops, or remove George Bush. But competition can be fun!

I'm college wrestler, and training for 3 or 4 hours everyday isn't going to solve any problems! But it felt nice last year to stand on the all american platform and get recognized for my work.

I think ops are a good thing. And if you choose to compare your video to others and "compete" a little, then good for you!

i dont think this thread is about "competition" but more about wanking because someone thinks that some opinions are unjustified... which completely sucks the fun out of "friendly competition" cause no one likes a sore loser... :/

now i do believe that creating extra screen names to harass other members, and making extra sns to boost your own scores is considered cheating in said competitions... and THOSE opinions should be taken down...

but i dont see any rules anywhere that says that a single person with a single screen name should have to conform to anyone elses standards...

if i want to leave all 10s on an opinion then i have every right to... perhaps my reasons were justified privately... and perhaps my reasons are unknown to the general public... either way its up to the amv creator to decide weather or not the opinion is spam... just as all 1 opinions are up to the creator to decided if they are spam or not...

i know some creators that love the all 1 ops and dont care if they recieve them...

remember they are numbers people... just numbers...

Everyone has their own personal rating system. I don't know what else can really be said...

It isn't like you can really push your own system onto other people. The opinion submission form has tips and guidance on how to rate videos. If users choose to ignore it they have every right to do so.

Thus I'm not really sure what you are trying to argue/point out.

Hmmm that reminds of alot of opinions i go back and read through other opinions and see some thing like the scores are 10s and nothing but this

i dont think he's mad. i think hes just expressing an opinion. besides maybe you can offer a little more to the topic than that just that. i dont mind getting all 10's on some vids but as long as its a true opinion. but i also feel that every video is not perfect either even if it does have a score of all 10's. usually all 10's lead to overrated videos that arent worth downloading in the first place.
