Anime more boring than Eureka Seven?

Post by requiett » Sun Sep 03, 2006 6:22 am

Eureka Seven:
It's a masterpiece of drawn-out character developement that doesn't have time to bother with character development. It's 100% sublime boardroom genius. Every episode is vaguely emotional filler. The creators of this show took a look at some of the most dramatic anime ever, and said, "You know what? This shit isn't boring enough. We have to take this to grand new heights!"

It's so brilliantly vague, I don't even know who or why they're fighting. You can watch the whole fucking series, and still not have the first clue about the plot. The ambigous sexual tension is even more masterful. You'd almost swear it wasn't even there.

It's such a marvel to behold that I challenge you guys to name me a more incredibly plot-incompetent anime.

For such reasons, I have a test group of 16 kittens(used to be 18, but, following an episode of Super Milk Chan, one went crazy and cannibalized another before trying to swallow it's own paw and slicing it's throat open from the inside). The sole purpose of this test group is to watch anime before I set my eyes upon it. If they cry, I do everything in my power to avoid it like a plague.

Boring? have you seen the new Fist of the north star, im like "Where's the head poppin!" most of the time its about how the bad guy will screw over everyone then Ken kills someone, Old One, Ken kills his way through the episode while telling how you'll die during your death period till he gets to whomever it was he was supposed to kill in the first place.
Life is but a dream.....So what happens when you wake up?

Obviously you've never heard of POT. And by pot, I don't mean pot, I mean Prince Of Tennis.
Last I saw it was somewhere around 180 episodes. This kids been a junior longer than some people take to finish high school. Tennis matches. Physics defying tennis matches. If you ever watch this show, make sure that you tatoo the phrase 'mada mada dane' onto your skin. 1) it will dull the boredom of watching people play tennis, and 2) you will hear the phrase about 5 times per episode. 180*5= 900 odd times. You'd think the show could come up with some new stuff. You'd think so, but you'd be wrong.
According to a random trivia site, the longest tennis match ever took place in 1982 and was six and a half hours long. Obviously, it's no match for this show which has been dragging it out for years. DBZ battles got nothin' on this.
Build a man a fire, and he will be warm for a night. Set a man on fire, and he will be warm for the rest of his life.

The Naruto filler episodes are trying REALLY HARD! "That's my way of the <s>ninja</s> filler!"

Really? I use orphan babies. I'm down to two now, I'll need to re-stock soon if cartoon network continues with their usual sunday night material. Oh, great. "12 OZ. Mouse" Just caused Timmy to dig his eyes out with a spork... Just a minuite, I need to prep the wood chipper.
(that show has killed five now.)
"Just let me sleep....."
