Anyways, about the one thing I feel Naruto deserves credit for at the very least is the fact that the fights don't drag on that long at all. They don't draw out a fight for 10 or 20 eps just for the sake of doing so.

Come to think of it, you know what's weird? I assume everyone will agree with me that the Cel Saga moved along much quicker then the Frieza Saga when it, like you said, took forever and the whole "this planet will explode in five minutes" was more like five hundred years for us. My cousin who is a hard core fan of Naruto and DBZ--he told me that with the Freiza Saga, someone was actually backing Toriyama when it was made. It wasn't Toriyama's idea to do the Freiza episodes until this dude placed the thought in front of him. So, if someone sees this big difference when comparing the Freiza Saga with the Cel Saga, that's the reason. Toriyama was all on his own when he made the Cel Saga, the reason why it was so much better (and moved along faster) then the Frieza Saga.

But I do agree with you that most anime shows like Naruto do move along quicker in their battles. I actually think that's one of the major weak points in DBZ.

I enjoy Naruto but i'm not a "die hard" so to speak, i watch it in my own time when i'm in the mood... I consider myself a kid at the age of 17 anyway so i'm not embarressed about liking it. Although DBZ and Naruto are similar I still hate DBZ so there definately is a difference.

I can understand why people love it... It has emotionally grasping storylines that people can relate most of the time to atleast one or two characters.

But i also see why people Hate it... It can be excrutiatingly cheesey from time to time. Making it hard to form any kind of connection atall.

It has nice clean animation and is pretty simple so i guess thats where the attraction lies for me (I'm not one for confusing plots)... those who prefer a more deeply challenging anime i guess don't like it.

So i guess the fuss is alot of people find it easy to follow cause it isn't challenging in the brain department, with me being one of them...

But i dunno, whatever.

HA HA! Yeah, I can see why. Those episodes were killer.

The only sagas I like are the Anriod and Cel Saga. They have the stronger plots, they move along a lot faster and are connected, and it's...they're just awesome sagas. Heck, I only watch the show for the Andriod and Cel Saga!! Ah, the very first episode I saw was "Deadly Beauty" when Vegeta was getting his butt whooped by 18.

To tell the truth naruto started out bad but with ninja killing ninja it got pretty good. But the cartoon verson was too edited an turned the show sour

really?!
i didn't think there'd be that much of a difference between the anime and manga, was there anything specific about the anime's edits to the story that you didn't like?

seeing what i've seen it looked pretty similar

Im not the point iwas trying to make was that cartoon network messed with it and i did not like it i said nothing about amvs to tell the truth naruto amvs are pretty good you da NooB
