Build a man a fire, and he will be warm for a night. Set a man on fire, and he will be warm for the rest of his life.

Ok, I think us people need to start speaking the language with call English. Cuz...*scratches head*...man, I'm getting all confused by reading all these posts!...Make sense, they do not.
*waves hand* Hey, I have a question!
Just to get us back on the DBZ and/or Naruto subject.
Naruto...I haven't seen much of the show, and when I started to check it out it went off the air (or, at least where I live. The service out on Planet Vegeta is APPALING, let me tell you). Do the characters Sasu and Zabuza have really important parts in the show? Like, are they two of the main characters in the show?
Just a question that has been haunting me since forever. Anyone can answer it, or you guys can just ignore the question and continue the deep discussion you were having, the choice is yours.

I know that zabuza is only in less than five episodes then he and haku both die
Yeeeeeah...I knew it was spoiling it, but I'll never see the show since I'm a full time student and have a lot of other things to do. Night time is the only time I can spend freely annnnnnd like I said, Naruto and DBZ aren't aired anymore where I am . Lol, but I have tons of pics from the shows and DBZ sound clips to remind me of the good 'ol days!
But they both die, eh? Hm. I c. Very interesting. Thanks, Dragon. You answered my question and now I'm satisfied.

I agree to an extent, i believe the characters are definately multi-layered (some, not all) but also i think they've been simplified to the point that their complexity is the only thing they got going for them... if that makes any senseKirby-chan wrote:The show has some very in depth characters that stand out and go throught many problems we do in real life. You can easily get drawn into it and begin falling in love with your favorite character. It's basicall the Harry Potter of the anime world.
it's almost like, Sasuke, for example, he's seen as a complicated character because it's hard to know what he's thinking, but at the same time, if he wasn't fixated on gaining power for one of his multiple reasons, would we really recognize him as the same character?
..or maybe Sasuke's just not a complicated character and that was just a bad example, any ideas or suggestions for most complicated/in depth character of the series?

Well i would have to say that the most complicated character is that sand village dude. What's his name.............................Oh!!! that's right it's Gara or something like that. Much isn't know about the dude except he likes to kill people with sand and he's never been touched. Buuuuuuut...............im new here so....you decide

This show WILL die down like the other series did once it stops airing on CN. Alot of the hardcore fans will disapear to never appear again "cause it's not cool anymore" (<--- I've actually heard that about a few VERY popular series in the past that have since gone off the air).
I myself grew tired of the anime and manga cause there was too much fighting. I also grew tired of Yu Yu Hakusho for the same reason. The series starts out interesting and quickly disolves into a fight of the day series.
I deplore fighting animes, expecialy DBZ. Let me say no offense to anyone who's a fan of DBZ or fighting animes, but it's just not my cup of tea.
I think that the reason Naruto is so popular is cause of the fight scenes and what not. Something that most College kids and what not can call themselves fans of and still remain "cool".
Apologies to anyone I offended and remember this is just my opinon.
