For the vid "This can never be"

No explanation as to why they disliked the vid other than subs are distracting.... plus a ton of low marks. I've rewatched this video and it is not even half as bad they say.

The kind of opinions that give me no constructive criticism at all ar epointless.

Please remove it?

I understand fully what the difference between insanely harsh and a flame is, however, this opinion truly does not belong there. It has no helpful insight into WHY the person said it was what it was, simply "The subs are distracting."

My friend's buttocks may be distracting but that doesn't mean her grades suffer from it.

You see my point? If the opinion stated why each of those levels were what they are, then I would have no problems with it... as it stands, it is useless and, frankly, embarrassing.

Also it's funny that you keep the all 10s that have no constructive comments. I say unless it was just FLAMING it shouldn't be removed. Be glad they said "subs are distracting". Some people are very limited like that, but still want to post comments. You can't get all upset everytime you get one bad opinion. Maybe...don't use subs?

That isn't an accurate analogy unless your friend is waving her buttocks in the teachers' faces while they're marking her work.

When you say 'a bunch of low scores', do you mean straight ones or an assortment of low numbers? It's hard to discuss an op if the video's creator doesn't make it public.

It was public... I don't know hw it became hidden again. I haven't touched it. They were all around fours or fives even though the picture quality, sound, and overall vid weren't that poor. Yes, I used Subs, yes, that's against the policy of the site, should it bring every other score down, I don't think so.

I'll make it public again so you can see it and I apologize for the mix up.

I dled your vid so that I could compare the op you recieved to oneI would have given

I couldn't see much originality, and 5 is supposed to be average, so this score seems fair to me

capture, the picture was suprosingly good, but the subs are bad (as you already know) I dock a little for subs here and in a few other categories
I would have given it a 6 or 7

sound, completely fair

action, there wasn't much in the way of action sync...and the clips seemed to change at random times, subs also take away from this score,I would have given it about a 4

effort, leaving subs in conveyes a lack of care to many people, and there wasn't anything that looked like it took a lot of time or effort, I think 4 or 5 is appropriate

review, subs hurt here too. nothing was really eye-popping or memorable...so review is about a 3 or 4 imo

overall, subs hurt here too, considering everything above, I would have given it a 3 or 4

yes, it would have been nice if they could have explained why they gave the scores (and possibly ideas to try/ways to improve)...but it seems to be more rare than it should be.
*I don't mean to insult you/hurt your feelings. this is my honest opinion, no more, no less
(if you want more details or what I think could be done to make other ones better you can drop me a pm...and I did notice that it was up about a year ago)

Okay, no prob.

The distribution of the numbers and the audio score suggests it's an honest op. I downloaded the vid and watched it... and in the meantime Kariudo said pretty much what I was going to say. Gotta love the preview button.

The op isn't going to get removed because the scores are lower than you'd like. It isn't going to get removed for a lack of content either, as there isn't any word-count requirement when leaving an op.
