In other news, while I assume everyone is extra busy, no word about my registration situation. Although when they PMed me they said it would be "Looked into". X|

This is fucken ridiculous.
This is aimed at no one in particular, I'm just majorly pissed and need to vent.

Sent that email on the 17th. Only AFTER I posted that nobody responded on the .org did anyone care. I got an email saying my registration would be "looked into". My forum account was reactivated. Yay for foruma ccount.

About 10 minutes a go, I posted(on the AWA forums) that nobody has given me information on my registration status at this point, yet.
I explained my situation, I am getting on the plane tomorrow morning, I will not have internet access after that AT ALL, I NEED TO KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON.

AT this point, a "We lost your file and we admit it, so you're going to have to wait in line again" would be fine(as longa s I at least get $10 off it, since I ALREADY PAID THIS LAST YEAR) as long as I know wtf is going on.

Okay, so I'm getting desperate. Topic wasn't even up for five minutes, okay, and somebody DELETED IT. They DELETED my thread. They didn't give me a PM, or an email, or anything. They just deleted it.

WHAT THE FUCK.

At this point, somebody give me a fucking number I can call or something, because I've been going to AWA since 2001, and I really don't want to start boycotting it now.

SO SOMEBODY PLEASE email and tell me SOMETHING. Even if it's bad news JUST LET ME FUCKING KNOW ABOUT IT.

Edit: Okay, awaadmin emailed me again, but just witha "We're looking ito it still". Thank you for that. I guess. X|

The only reason I'm making such a huge deal otu of this is that:
a.) I had to walk-in reg last year because my parents sucked, so I paid the extra money so I didn't have ot wait three hours ot get my badge(again).
b.) I'm a student, and I'm broke, and I have physically depraved myself of a lot of meals to go to this thing. So scrounging up whatever enourmous(yet perfectly viable) fee they have for walk-in registration this year will put a HUGE dent in my pocket.

If I was in the financial situation I was in last year, maybe I wouldn't be SO anal about it. But this year I really need to save that money. =(

As for being moved out, Fluxxy.. Wow. I don't know how that could possibly work out, but.. There's, uh. jbone's hotel room(s).
Being moved out sucks. =(

Apparently a lot of people are being moved out of the con hotel... 2 days before the con... I cannot think of how angry most people must be. It didn't sound like a small number of people either...
