It might die down after overlapping everything and it did in terms of fanmade videos and top favorite anime lists. There are more parodies, amvs, fandubs for naruto than any other anime series in existence. DBZ has been in that loop before.. but it's also been out since the 80s.. naruto just came out a few years ago and already overlapped it. Wether it's dying out or not, it's already proven to be the pilot of anime. It's going to be really hard for something to come out and overlap it.

Naruto really screwed up around the time it aired on CN.
The first problem was it airing on CN. The second was that, while the fillers had already started, they hadn't become long enough so that all of us fans were like "When will it end!?"
I don't like the first few episodes, which I think is a shame, since usually the first episodes are what attracts a person to a series.
I do love Naruto. It's a great show. I don't know what people mean by their being no plot/character development. Every single character has their own story, except for TenTen.
If people can't think up a reason as to why the show is bad, I don't think they should hate the show. If they saw the show and didn't get interested, that's one thing. But when people go, "OMG! It's a horrible show! It's a DBZ clone!" without having thoroughly watched the show, I get a little distraught.
Right now, I am fading out of Naruto, I must admit. But it is still a damn awesome show, and I don't think that people should bash it without reason.

Sasuke is one of the main characters. Zabuza is not. 'Nuff said.Do the characters Sasu and Zabuza have really important parts in the show? Like, are they two of the main characters in the show?

That's how I got with the fillers. I started with supreme love for the show to the thought of "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU GUYS DOING!!!!!???" the fucking fillers... it just sucks a big degrade in the shows quality.. it can be nice at times but a degrade in visual quality and very random short stories that are slow timid really take away from the typical joy I get from the show.. I hope it gets back to good 'ol Naruto when the fillers stop. The feel just isn't the same with these fillers.. sometimes it has some of it's original charm but it feels soo off beat.Kayley. wrote:I get a little distraught.

I never watched the anime in the first place, though, so I don't care about the fillers. =Px_rex30 wrote:That's how I got with the fillers. Problem I have with naruto too. With all "fad" anime's that are over hyped on TV is the expert fans of the show who pop up after having only seen the edited version on CN a few times.
It's happened with other similarly popularly animes where you get noobs going around on boards spouting they know everything about a particular series and then get upset when you prove em wrong.
The ones I remember mostly are the rabid fanboys of Tenchi.
Another reason I stay away from overly popular and overhyped animes like Naruto.

*bows head and slowly raises hand* my name is isudae76, and I was an "DBZ expert" until vegetoEX showed me the error of my ways. now I'm nuetral. I still love DBZ, its my fav anime, but narutos on that list too. and even after all this fuss breaks down and another anime comes up, I'll probobly pick that one up too. but still naruto and DBZ will ever be on my list of favorite animes, I love the manga even more than that
Everything came from nothing, therefore everything is nothing.

im really quite impressed. im new at this whole anime website. I just have to say that you guys provide the best opions from any anime person i know. i really enjoy reading your posts and post replys. im really glad i joined. so i have to say thank you for being so.....into it. (to get back on subject). the first few episodes of naruto are pretty lame. i've NEVER actually seen any form of japenese anime. ive always wanted to. i think naruto is a relation to what teens these days are going through.(except for being a ninja) i think putting it on toon was pretty retarded. But i still like the dvds.
