  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Gundam Seed Video

Post by Hoyle00 » Fri Sep 22, 2006 7:50 pm

I spent the last 6 months working on this video. You may need to become a member of the a-m-v.org community in order to download the music video.

For those of you familiar with the AMV community, you may find this video a bit generic in style. I could care less, effects vids have gotten overly boring to me, and usage of "After Effects" is overrated sometimes. This video was meant to be an artistic portrayal of the series, not an illustration of how well i can run Premiere.

I hope I do the series justice....and no I do not like U2, in fact my taste in music much better. I just felt like working with the song that's all.

This is an interesting AMV you've put together here. I've left you an opinion with more detailed comments. Good work!

This is by far the best GS AMV done on the org so far. Even though the GS dub fails...pretty badly I can see why you chose to use the english voices in this AMV, and it works well with the song, something which I haven't seen done in an AMV before and it therefore adds a lot more drama to the AMV itself. A very good job, congrats =P

thanks, I wasn't quite sure how well the audio dub overlapping would be taken
