Journey of Hearts (from AWA Pro)
Here's my latest! I made it as a present for krzT's birthday and then later entered it in AWA Pro. It was nominated for Best Character Profile and Best Non-anime Video.
Journey of Hearts
Footage: Kingdom Hearts
Music: Johnny Rzeznik - "I'm Still Here"
Many months of capturing, footage cleaning, and editing went into this video, so I hope you'll like it, even if you're not familiar with the game. Here are some screenshots to whet your appetites!
Enjoy!

Wahoo!
Uh, just joining the party to once again say that this video is indeed great.
A very shameless video. In a good way. It does everything well and appropriately, in the right amounts, without taking itself too seriously. The editing is very well done, varied enough, but I like the fact that it's mostly kept on the simpler side (with shameless internal sync).
Anyway, not being a KH fan, I'm certain I'm missing some of the appeal - but I can confirm it's worth keeping even out of general AMVing interest.

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Hell ya!!!! Got not 1, not 2, but 3 VAT Guest awards (one of them mine) in Pro this year, so you know its gotta be good. Well you already know I *heart* this vid, awesome work, expecially the way you synched all the movement in the game footage so smoothly, must've taken quite a long time to capture the right scenes and lay them out in the right order like you did.
I also thought the "Happy birthday krzt" message at the table scene was a cute touch, though I didn't notice it till after all the betas I saw;p she must've been happy to see that.
Awesome work. One of the best not just KH, but i'd even go as far as to say Video game amvs I've had the pleasure of watching, Hence why I gave it my "Best use of video game footage" guest award at AWA this year.
Definately check this out, especially if your a KH fan, your in for a treat.

I got a real kick out of this vid. I've never played the game, but I've ended up watching quite a few KH AMVs. This is one of the most enjoyable. I particularly liked the classic Disney stuff, it brought back good memories from my childhood. I imagine thats part of the appeal of the game, and its what I like to see in the videos.
