AMV Hell 3 Codec

I downloaded AMV Hell 3 for my general enjoyment, but there was a codec my computer did not have installed. Can anybody tell what this codec is?

Do a search for the Combined Community Codec Pack. (CCCP) It has everything you need to play AMVs. I recommend uninstalling any codecs you already have on your system before installing it though, just in case.

AMV Hell 3 is probably DivX or XviD. (not sure, because I've never actually downloaded it....only watched it on Google Video =P )

I use CCCP with CoreAVC instead of Libavcodec for h.264 and I've never had it cause any problems with Premiere, AE or any other tool I use.
