AWA 2006 Aftermath

Let's just say I had a great time that night. I lost count after 4 sunset Tequilas. I remember some things that went on that night but some of it was a blur, but I know that I was able to walk back to my hotel and grab an asprin and fall asleep safely.

The con was a lot of fun being my first AWA, 14th con overall. This is the most fun I have had going to conventions. It was great meeting everybody there. It was also fun playing Texas Holdem with MJ and the rest. Then Saturday morning getting a chance to playing Magic the Gathering with Decoy and inthesto. That was fun. Got my butt kicked by Decoy in MTG. I could get damage in for the early game but late game that's when his deck just started to own me. Need to be faster???? I never knew Decoy had intrest in Magic the Gathering. Then meeting Phade at the lunch was cool too. The Iron Editor was great and congratulations to Atom X on his Victory. Well I'll defidently be returning next year. As for Mr. Oni I say there is a chance he may be coming next year too.

Well I had a blast. Next Stop Anime USA.

Wait, what?? What's the real story?

According to Vic appearently someone in one of the neighboring rooms was really pissed off about the noise we were making in the hall and at some point just called security to come up and just put an end to it. Coincidentally this was about the time that those last few plushies were thrown from the floor.

Like I said, dissapointing. . . .course maybe not as much so as not actually hitting that guy by the umbrella.

I dunno, I had the security guy staring me down as he told me that if another plushie was thrown, it would be my ass...but he wasn't pointing the finger at me or anything >_>

It was myself, Ileia, Pero and Lita and it was incrediably hot with mucho groping in the bar....and no one got the picture, so sad ;_;

AWA was defenitely awesome this year, so many inside jokes and drunken poker. Major fun times ^_^

Well this was info I got post matter. We left before hotel security got there and had only spoken to AWA staff. So I don't know what really happened after that, this is mostly hearsay from others.

I think this definitely goes to sto since he was consistantly drunk all weekend, while I only had mine on Saturday. But hey, not many times a year ya get a chance to drink with so many people. Fun times.

AWA indeed was awesome. So many people to meet and hang out with. The best of those being Nio for his hilarious kool-aid question. Decoy and the germans were awesome (I hope Messi didn't collapse during class today.) Icy, Illea, Metro, Subey, FC, Sto, Koop, Atom, Nessie and the many other people who were just great to be around, thanks for the great time. Hopefully next year I don't have as bad altitude sickness/fatigue as I did. Great time all!
