Your AMVs not making it into the finals? Now that's just plain odd.

I watched the winning Drama video. It seemed like a rather run of the mill FFX AMV; not even top tier.

I wonder just what went wrong with my Schoolhouse Rock video and the audience. I don't think it really was a Comedy video, just a funny concept video. Well if anyone was there, I'd appreciate knowing just what went through your head while it played.

Well I can tell you what was going through my head when I watched your schoolhouse Rock video. At first I was laughing because it was a funny concept, but I think that it was to long. It got a little boring to me after a while and that mainly could be that it was in the comedy category and the audience was expecting something funny. The video lost it's appeal to me about a minuet into it. I think the video would have done better if it was shorter or maybe the song was interupted by a funny audio clip or something along that lines. That would have gotten the audience back into the video.

Another factor could have been that the audience had just watched a very very long drama category (to many slow videos in that one I think) and the audience was ready for a change. I know I almost feel alseep towards the end of the drama category lol. Anyway. Very original idea, but it just didn't get the audience. A shorter video would have done better for you I think. That is my opinion. I hope that might have helped you at all. :D

I really liked your Schoolhouse Rock video. It was very well edited and well done. The concept was very nice, and Azudai is such an easy target for an amv.
