Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Being a fan of RoS and RoS2, I was really anticipating this one. Unfortunately, I must say I'm disappointed. Something is missing here. Probably the originality and experimental feeling of the the two first opus. Overall it's well edited, some parts are interesting but others are simply bland and that's the final impression I get of this project.
Parts I liked : Mushishi, Beck, Chrno Crusade, Tenjo Tenge, Gankutsuou, Noein.

Oh, as a side note --
The intro is meh.
So! If you're interested in fixing it, or just want to see what the heck was going on in it, start by grabbing this ->
http://www.planetbrad.com/ros3/trythil/ ... tro.tar.gz
You'll need a custom Blender build for the compositing pipeline and particle systems. Get in touch with me if you're interested. I can produce builds for Windows, OS X, and GNU/Linux systems, though the build for Windows will probably not be as stable as the latter two.
Becaus the Blender source files contain vectorized imagery of Haruka from Noein (and thus run afoul of copyright) I can't really release the Blender source files under any sort of formal license. So, do with it whatever you will, if you think it's valuable. (Not like I have power to stop you.)

Anyways, I'm so happy this is finally out ^_^
It's defenitley my favorite of the series and it was awesome being apart of it. Great job to everyone on their tracks, and a huge nod to Atomx and Trythil for the amount of work that went into getting this all done and ready, for awa and for now hehe ^_^

Wow, took you people long enough
This is to me a roller coaster ride rather than the constant high gear feeling that the previous ROS projects conveyed in me. There were slow (not just tempo-wise) parts which *almost* grinded it down to a halt but then BAM, something snaps and it's jetting away again into a segment that gets your pulse quickening. I can't make up my mind whether this makes me it better or worse than the previous projects, but what I will say is that it is refreshing to see this project done in a different "stlye"

Thanks for letting me know this was put up LEE
Heh anyways. This project has been my baby over the past year, and I cannot be more pleased with it than I already am. I really want to give a huge thank you to everybody who participated in this project. With some of these songs, I was somewhat skeptical about how people would approach them and whether or not they'd do them justice, but it turned out that skepticism was not warranted, since it all turned out so damn good.
And I concur. Best MEP ever.
I hope you guys enjoy it.
