not announcing amvs?

i think its good to announce your own amvs, if you're seeking for constructive criticism and not because u want people to like your work. Although most of the time people don't really care to comment (i noticed), i'll still take my chances. At least i learn what is wrong my editing skills rather to let it be wrong forever.
Also, i think it depends on the watcher and the creator.
maybe people watch from announcements because:
1. They're searching for good videos
2. They have time and are kind enough to comment

maybe Creators announce they amvs because:
1. They want attention and they think their videos is the best
2. They want to improve.

Of course you might argue that if one seeks for improvment opinions why not head for the opinion exchange forum? i think its useless, because i think most of the opinion exchange do not come across as sincere.
