Editors like you? So your assuming your a better AMV artist than Tommy? HELLS NAA!!! I've seen your work and it doesn't compare to any of Tommy's work at all! I've heard about your rep and it's BS, the fact that you think you got the upper hand on Tommy is crap. Oh and his abandonment, that's just due to lazy ass people who don't wanna do jack! Seriously, I really don't know why you would include people who don't even have a computer in a project (as mentioned in the 1st ddr project). Another thing it's not that hard to make a AMV, so don't think your all special. However there is few people who will create something that is just outstanding and needs to be given recognition (once in a full moon). Not every AMV is a piece of art, regardless of who even created it.

There are far too many posts here nowadays of people spouting off when they base their entire outburst on a misunderstanding or else read in extra things which were never said. Are people not learning reading comprehension in schools these days or what?
So you've heard about his rep, have you? I have no idea what exactly his "rep" is, but let me tell you about the person. This may be a newsflash to everyone, but the person that is most mystified by his "rep" is Kusoyaro himself. He's not part of some weird AMV ruling class, he's not God's Gift to AMVs, he's just a guy, and that's how he thinks of himself. I've never heard him say that he's better than anyone, or bragged about how many awards he's won or how many videos he's done. He's made a lot of videos and many people like them. Maybe not all of them, and I don't know of any one video that is universally loved, but he's never complained about that. He just keeps on quietly making videos.
And people keep requesting them. You can request that he send you CD-Rs of his work (his website tells you how) and he usually gets 30-40 requests a week. Is he raking in the dough this way? No, he doesn't even break even, but he figures if you really don't want to try getting them online for free, here's another avenue. What else does this mean? Not only does he have to spend the time to burn 3 700-MB CD-Rs per request, he also has to go to the post office and mail them out every week, which he does about 2-3 times a week, forcing him to take a long lunch everytime he goes to the post office and making him work later on those days to make up the time. Have you ever heard a peep out of him about this?
So why is he so popular? Who knows? My guess is that because he tries to answer all of his e-mails, letters, and IMs and he has a pleasant disposition in person, so that if you ever do meet him, he's not some arrogant dick whose head is swollen to the size of a watermelon, but rather a normal down-to-earth guy that likes making music videos. I think because of his attitudes and personality that he has made a lot of friends among other AMV makers and so is well-known that way. And because he is well-known among this AMV circle, maybe people listen to him and put more stock into his words than he intends when he states this or that opinion. If this is the case, blame yourself for falling for the "hype". Notice that Kusoyaro never tries to force his ideas on anyone, he just states his opinion and leaves it at that. Everyone has opinions and not everyone agrees with them. One thing I can guarantee you'll never see is an egomaniacal Kusoyaro running around posting about how he's a better editor than everyone or how his videos are so good and so popular and better than other ones. And if you think that he has a huge ego or he's being irrational, maybe you should think twice about that and re-read a post to see if you understood it correctly. Hell, that's just a good idea anywhere.
