Sakura-Con 2007 AMV Contest

Post by Seijin_Dinger » Thu Aug 31, 2006 4:12 pm

Hello,

I am pleased to announce that the AMV Contest will open for submissions on September first.

This year represents th 10th year of Sakura-Con, and I do have some special plans for the contest.

also we will be holding our third anual AMV Dinner. The dinner will happen on Saturday evening, and depending on what time events happen, the dinner will take place either before or after the Special suprise for Saturday

I look forward to seeing everyopnes entries and I hope that with your help, the 10th Year Anniversery contest can be our best yet.

As always I can be reached at amv@sakuracon.org
and our submission site is found on our website at http://www.sakuracon.org under the conytests menu, or directly linked here http://sakuracon.org/contests/amv/index.php

Quick Edit
I will be turning the site on in about an hour or so (day early, happy Labor Day All)

We have a new Login System, this will write a secure cookie for those who check the "Remain Logged In" Box, or go into sessions to andle your login if you choose leave the box unchecked

the Cookie will expire after 30 Days, and currently the Session will expire roughly after 20 minutes

This was done to allow for a suitable option for everyone, not everyone prefers cookies which is why I asked for the sessions ability, and well I didnt like the old cookie I wrote hence why I asked for the new cookie

I hope that I can continue to improve the site

Oh and this year the FTP Server is back

It's a shame WMV isn't accepted.

Does the exhibition follow the same rules as the contest? Will you be showing any MEP's?

Multi Editor Projects, like AMV hell 3 or Animasia I and II. However since the limit is 7 minutes in both categories, I guess not.
