I don't think the point of it is to suck though, this isn't a suck MEP (if it happens) it's a imcompete AMV MEP

and if I DO host it, I'll make sure better editors do the intro, transitions (whatever those will be) and outro for me so all I would have to do is put it all together, but I still have no idea if I will or not. I was really just seeing if anyone was interested :/

OO!!! I got shitloads of stuff. The FMA Metro beta for the SOAD MEP that never made it into a complete coherent video before I changed animes, my Ranma/Ryoga yaoi vid that I have no motivation whatsoever to finish and has been sitting there for the last forever(and will probably continue sitting there), and whatever else is sitting in my videos folder. *^_^*

this would actually be one of the easiest projects to ensure that. people have already DONE the work, there are plenty of incomplete AMVs out there. i guess people just send in any amount, and you say either 'welcome' or 'piss off n die'.

Is there going to be any cohesive theme to this project? A bunch of half-done videos with varying degrees of quality thrown into a big pot and stirred around isn't tremendously appetizing.

Like...half done comedies? Half-done drama? Maybe make specific "chapters" or sections to the big ole thing? And how "done" is done? Does 10 seconds of footage count? 'cause I gots lots of that - or did, until *pulls out Kleenex* my HD ate my AMVs. This is getting really repetative. I should just put it in my sig.

I've always wanted to see an MEP "contest" with videos that were incomplete BUT folks most wanted to see completed. That might be difficult to orchestrate, though.

I do like that idea. Having separate sections for various types of AMV's. The categories that are, or course, found on the org. Though why the org never added angst I wouldn't know...I mean real angst not emo angst.

Um....I guess 10 second stuff could work, but I was thinking more on the lines of 30-1:30 (unless the song is shorter than that, in that case it still has to be incomplete)

but this forum is more for developing the idea, and once it is developed enough, it can be hosted by either me or whomever wants to pursue the hosting. Any ideas will be taken into consideration.

I think I've only got the one beta still saved, and I'm not sure what disc it's on, but I'll look into it. I'll have to see about resizing it, so I'll post back in a day or so to say if I'm 100% or not.

Hmm... seeing as how I'm working on the main video, I'm probably never gonna finish this quickie video now. This project would be a nice place to put it, so my partial video doesn't go to waste.

If this gets going, I'll probably be in. ^_^

Edit: I forgot to add... this project has an alternate benefit. If people put their videos in, maybe it'll give some of them inspiration to finish those projects after the comments start rolling in. It's really a win-win situation, so thank you for proposing the idea.
