Ahhh, episode 4. Well the one thing you could complain about is

there's ANOTHER cliffhanger that ends with Mai.

But there's no doubt she'll get more screentime next episode.

Other then that,

the episode began with a continuation of a flashback of where Yuuichi and Ayu first met when they were kids. They were SO ADORABLE especially Ayu! >_<

Anyone noticed how that parallels with that very scene in the first episode? Keep that in mind!

Other stuff happened like Makoto's failed revenge plot against Yuuichi, Ayu meeting up with Akiko (do notice the subtle reaction Akiko made), and Ayu and Makoto finally meeting each other. It's been awhile since I've seen the old version though I almost forgot why Kaori didn't want to go home.

Hope you have sharp eyes because some of these scenes will be important later on!

grrr, funny how we end up at the end of this episode right back where we left off in end of episode 3 without getting to see anything about that yet ;p Evil Kyo-ani....

From the preview though, looks like we'll get rewarded in the next episode

Beauty holds no bounds!

There are certain parts of Mai's story that's been neglected in Toei's version, and I'm dying to see what's about!

I've just seen the first 4 eps. All I can say that this series kicks ass, the animation is so solid that it totally beats Toei's version. I really liked Kanon when I first saw it and I'm glad to to be watching this again with better storyline and animation. Good job, Kyoto Animation!

I wonder if this series will ever be licensed. I hope it happens; but that'll never happen.

Hahaha, episode 5 was comedy gold especially the ones between Yuuichi and Makoto.

The bathroom scene was hilarious a well as Yuuichi telling Makoto to go buy a porn magazine. Heck, did anyone noticed how devious and evil Yuuichi was towards Makoto?

I also liked how Ayu was nonchalantly eating breakfast with Yuuichi, and he didn't care until he finally realized she was there. Then there's Nayuki's randomly sleeping where ever she is. And man, Mai was certainly hard to talk to so Yuuichi has to get creative with the questions. And Shiori + short skirt and thigh-high stockings = total hotness!!!

And that's it, all of the main girls have been properly introduced. Now comes the fun part......

Bwahaha!!! Episode 6.....man, that Yuuichi!

And there LOTS more of Ayu's uguu~~ness.....in different variations!

Pretty much Yuuichi and Ayu went out together to the movies. And Ayu didn't expect it to be horror flick which she got scared to the extreme. And there's Yuuichi who didn't give a damn!

Although I have to say, those gruesome sounds of the movie were indeed freaky to listen to. Makes me wonder when KyoAni will attempt to animate a horror genre (like say Higurashi no Naku Koro ni).

Other stuff happened like Makoto trying to get a job but failed and Nayuki being ridiculously sleepy all the time. Though the miso soup in the tub at the end of the episode was pretty damn funny.

Looks like next episode, they're going forward with Makoto's storyline.

I love Makoto and Yuuichi's attacks on each other. I want to create a compliation of them so bad.

Although I think they are funny as heck I think that Yuuichi should be nicer to her. He seems to be so mean to her on purpose and seems to get some enjoyment out of it. Although there are a few times where he is nice to her... a few but not many.

ugyuuu~ haha so theres different variations of ugyuu-ness

This episode was chock full of cute and funny moments, I'm already liking this Kanon better than the original

and I still say Yuki must've somehow warped Kyon to this anime dimension
