I am telling you, one of these years at AWA we need to just go ahead and do it and all pitch in a buck or whatever and get vlad a nice cane. It would make all the other old fart editors feel even younger than they are compared to Vlad.

Of course he's still damn good. He mops the floor with most of us. But it's always great to make fun of pops.

Reasons for me? Eh I never finish more than a couple vids a year. Getting 2 done over the summer/autumn is impressive for me. My current excuses is a nasty 18 credit semester with a cell bio/chemistry major/minor (premed route), maintaining a 3.85 GPA, social life, staffing Tekkoshocon and Acen, and normal everyday life. Yes, I have that whole normal daily activities thing at times.

But seriously what matters why who does or doesn't edit. Everyone has their own reasons. It is like asking why an athlete retires after however many years. Might be injuries, age, etc etc. Everyone's case is bound to be very different.

hell someone on Youtube accually made a page using my name *cept they did AddictionAMV4000... which is kinda retarded..* I sent them a message asking who they were and stuff, not that i mind people uploading my stuff... dudes like *I AM YOU!*
needless to say were friends now...

and all 10s and all 1s... i got both on my worst video... so what does that tell you?

The Best DBZ Vid EVAR!! has both all 10 and all 1 ops.... its a 150x225 resolution export from premiere... resized back to 320x240 just to make more pixilation *compressed with things like microsoft video 1, and divx 3 low bitrate*
so yeah.. you may wanna rethink that...

I think it's pretty much the same for everyone, things happen, you watch the anime less, you have less time, interests change etc etc...

I haven't even thought about this place in the last 6 months or so, I mean I haven't even got rid of my christmas hat. But I don't want to quit yet, I met someone recently who is into anime and all that goes with it as much as I was when I first found out it existed and that's kind of re-invigorated me.

And besides, I haven't got a partner or a kid to weigh me down yet, so I might as well get on with it again. :¬ P
