Anime Music Videos - Signs of Friendship and Courage

I've decided to take on two MEPS at the moment for several reasons. If I were to do AMVSOFAC (acronym) now, it would interfere less with my second semester of school. In other words, I have a multitude of freetime and want a challenge!

THEMES/TONES

As the title suggests, this project is dedicated to the friendship and courage displayed by anime character(s). Do not misunderstand. Friendship is NOT love! No Girlfriend/Boyfriend Yaoi or Yuri please. Friendship as in: Toru and Hanna (Fruits Basket), Kino and Hermes (Kino's Journey). Courage is pretty self explanatory.

RULES

1. No Excessive Gore, Hentai, or anything else that can result in a ban from the org.
2. No Pre-Made Videos Please.
3. Please do not announce your video on the org before the actual project has debuted.

Technical Data

Size: 720x480 , 640x480 (I Prefer 720*480)

Length: At least 1:00, No More than 2:00. I will be lenient and allow up to a five second difference in time.

Beta Video Compression: Anything that you like, as long as it is under about 100 MB.

Final Video Compression: Full Quality Huffy or Lagarith

Audio Compression(Both): Uncompressed

Frame Rate: 29.97 FPS

Video Quality: DVD ONLY!

Footage Quality: For the love of anime, CLEAN YOUR FOOTAGE!

Other: No watermarks, subtitles, or any kind of logo. While I know we all love seeing the Cartoon Network Logo, let's try something a tad different.

Anime Availability

1. Absolutely no anime in the top ten most used Anime. (Unless you can give me a REALLY REALLY REALLY good explanation as to why you need to use an overused anime.

2. No Duplicate Anime. First come, first serve.

3. Yes. Samurai X and Ruroni Kenshin are the same anime. Same things go for other anime spin offs.

Song Availability
1. Anything but Linkin Park is fine, as long as it is allowed on the org.

2. No duplicate songs. Again, first come first serve.

Project Deadline
1. Project Begins: November 11th, 2006

2. Beta Due: January 1st, 2007

3. Final Project Due: February 17th, 2007

4. Final Editing & Announcement: Late February/Early March

I don't have a fancy server you can upload it to, and I would prefer that you don't use local uploading.

Use: Filefront, Badango, MegaUpload, YouSendIt, your own personal server you can send me a link to, or any means you would like (other than the aforementioned ones that I clearly said not to use).

I hope that this project is great. I'm looking forward to working with another great group of editors.

And - If anybody would like to be the digital artist for the project, just drop a post off here. I'm looking for a bright and perky sig for the editors to have.

Well, I just noticed that a few people don't like the whole gore thing, and so I started this since it was supposed to be the sequal... And I won't have time to start it during the second semester and during summer unfortunetely, and I have tons of free time right now. I just thought it might be I good idea. Though, I might be wrong.

O.o i donno, i waited a year before i started a sequal to mine O.o XD
but then again christmas in january would be odd O.o

I would have just waited until the summer to start this one. You would have more free time and so would the editors. Besides, I think many of the editors that would probibly work on this one are busy with AMVSODAG. But it's up to you...

I'm putting too much on my plate as it is especially with Film and 3D finals coming up T_T
And I really wanted to be part of this one, I got an idea for it as soon as I saw there was gonna be a sequal on the Hope&Light video. ;_; I don't know that I can get two done that fast...
If push comes to shove, I'd rather do the video for this than the other MEP
