They didn't ask where. They asked how. And the solution was as noted above, to follow the part of the PS2 ripping guide that covers making the ISO.

And DVDDecrypter was discontinued because Macrovision (right? I can't remember who it was) threatened to sue. But you can still find the last available version on places like Doom9, last I checked.

Can you really make an iso of a UMD by using DVD decrypter? I thought there was program used for the psp that when ran, would make a dump of the ISO onto either your psp's memory stick, or your HDD. I'm not too sure of the specifics since I've never actually ripped a UMD myself. But I don't see how dvd decrypter could rip a UMD since UMD's can't really fit into any CD/DVD drive I know.

In searching around, I came across references (and some download links, which I won't post because I'm not quite sure of the pages' other content) to a program called UMD Dumper, which is currently at Beta v0.2, that can apparently dump the contents as an ISO file to either Memory Stick or your PC's hard drive. As I don't have a PSP I can't try this but it might be worth checking out.
