LFA (Looking for Anime): Love Story

Don't ask why, I just don't feel like Shonen right now...but that's pretty much all I know...action stuff...

Action's fine, but I'd like something with a storyline more focused on like a love story...maybe like Loveless without the yaoi and pedohilia...

And Inuyasha is not a love story...something more serious...something actually focused on the love part, maybe with some tragedy. I am not a sucker for happy endings...

Ah My Goddess (tv) is a good one
Chobits (I've heard the manga is better, but I haven't seen the anime so I can't make the comparison)
prehaps D.N. Angel too (though I haven't seen the anime or read the manga)

Ah My Goddess and Chobits are comedy aren't they? I'm really not in the mood for comedy...quite the opposite...

I don't know much about DN Angel, although I've heard good things about it...don't know what it's tone is though...

I think they are the same age or close to the same age in the series.
Haven't seen the whole series yet but i heard its got some sad stuff later on in the story.
