Clean Anime Openings...

Cant figure out where to put this so guess I'll slap it here ... ^^;

Anybody know if the japanese, Anime DVD's have clean (completely textless/no credits) openings/endings like many do here in the states? (Particuarly Naruto for a current project, but also any others that may not be available here in the US) It's a pain in the butt seeing clips in opening sequences that can fit perfectly into an AMV project but not wanting to use it because of stupid credits being over it... Any help on this matter would be awesome, thanks to anybody who cares to respond

Yes, most of the R2s I own contain the textless opening/endings, usually on the first disc to feature that OP/ED.

Naruto I do believe has textless OP/EDs.

Hell, they include them more than we do...much to my annoyance

*still bitter at BandaiUSA for axing the textless ops on several of their titles. Hell, they never even bothered translating the credits for G Gundam, they just left them with the Japanese text.*

I do know that FullMetalAlchemist and Gundam DVDs do have textless opening and endings.

Only some Gundam ones do, actually (Wing, SEED, and the UC OVAs all have them (partly cause they sold well.) On the other side of the coin, MSG, Zeta, and G Gundam all got the shaft when it comes to clean openings (kind of a kick in the ass since the MSG and Zeta DVDs have proof they DID have the clean ops, they just didn't feel the need to include them.))

and they didnt even bother to include the textless openings of G Gundam in the anime legends box sets either. i would have bought at least a couple of the box sets if they included the textless themes. they just included that useless G Files crap that i could care less about. speaking of axed textless openings most of DBGT's openings and closing got axed except for the first opening and closing but the rest were cut. and Samurai 7's main textless opening got axed as well. hopefully the second Naruto box set will have the openings of the first two openings and closings. if worse comes to worse and they dont include it ill buy an R2 or another region box that has it.
