If you have questions about compression/encoding/converting look here.

this is what you should be seeing. the other alternative to going to video, compression is to press ctrl+p

You probably have an older version of VirtualDub. If it doesn't have the multithreading option, just don't worry about it.

:? Do Lagarith's options really depend on the version of VDub? I'd think it's an older version of Lagarith, probably the one that comes (came?) with AMVApp.

Out of curiosity: Is there a specific reason to switch of the multithreading option? On systems with a hyperthreading capable P4 or with dual core CPU's multithreading should increase the speed.

... I'm a moron. I thought that was a VirtualDub option. Carry on.

instead of trying to find out what processor this person has, I just assume that the processor can't handle multiple threads. Turning it off isn't going to make it not work.

lol good guess. Yeah my computer can handle video and stuff, but it aint no duo core processor thingy with lights, gizmo's and an enabled smoothe maker. >_> it's an tosibia laptop that i got off of ebay for $500 and it works perfectly fine. 8-)

Well anyway, so there's an updated version out there? cause i went to the site and downloaded what i thought was the latest upgrade.
