The videos are going to be gigs big. If you're getting a few gigs per clip. that's normal. Try the Indeo codec. It doesn't look that bad, and it'll edit fine.

*sigh*
This may sound funny but it is true... I can use pan/crop tool without any problems but when I try to use "velocity" I can't see "the green line" on my clip. I have chose Insert/Remove Envelope -> Velocity but still I can't see it... Urgh. Where on Earth it is? -.-'

I don't know why you can't see it, but alternatively you can right-click on the clip, go to "Properties" and at the bottom there's a box that says "Playback Rate." Adjusting the numbers there will do the same thing as adjusting the velocity.

:?

I use Vegas 6.0c, so that may be an issue that's exclusive to version 7.0. Never seen it before, and I have no idea what it could signify. Sorry :/

Unless it comes out like that when you render the video, then it's probably just a little glitch that appears. o.O Doe sit appear after you render it?

So I made testvideo with effects and rendered it. You're right, that is only a strange glitch. That was scary because I have never seen anything like that before... o_O I think on version 6.0 there is nothing like that...

Ha Ha, no there is. :) Happened to me once and I thought it was real strange. But I rendered and it was fine. Now, I'm not a technical guru, so I don't know what is causing it, but it doesn't hurt your video, so it's all good. =D
