Darn, you beat me to posting this.

I'm leaning to voice #1 for Yuki, but I can't immediately decide like how it was for Mikuru's voice. Yuki choice #3 is an extremely close number 2 for me. I'm gonna have to sleep a bit on this one.

I love how they subtitled 'psychic' with 'esper' in response to the fans reaction to using the term psychic instead of not translating esper. And the use of some 'leet' in the added credits had me laughing:

JenSeki was Mamimi in FLCL. Technically, the assumption is that we already heard her. But I suppose a person can audition for multiple roles...

They all sound familiar, but their tone of voice is really throwing off my powers of recognition (weak as it is already). Just when I think I can pin the actress, the clip ends. I'm thinking that #2 is Lia Sargent (Milly from Trigun and R. Dorothy Wayneright from Big O). The rest, well...

I'm wondering if one of the voices is Amanda Winn Lee (Rei from Evangelion) which would be hilarious to me.

Yeah, I gotta agree with you a bit there... Although, at first I thought she sounded more like Julie Maddalena (VA for Yumi from Chobits).

If #3 is not Erika Weinstein (Reki from Haibane Renmei), then I'm... wrong?

Anyway, it's harder to pick out exactly who to go for in this case actually. #1 I think is getting my vote based on her being able to get a better pronounciation on the Japanese name, although I haven't cast that vote just yet.

#3 seems the closest one to the original, but still, i would say #1 is more appropriate for Yuki, too.

#2 really sounds like Julie Ann Taylor to me. I have heard #1 somewhere; could it be Kate Higgins? #3 sounds like Michelle Ruff again. #4 sounded off so I didn't bother deciphering her voice.

I'm pretty split between #1 and #3 as well!

Though I'm leaning towards #1 since it's an interesting interpretation of Yuki (even though it's about 20 votes below #3

). Her voice is still monotone and "robotic" to a certain degree, but there's an aura of soothing in her voice as well. It might actually make Yuki a lot more cuter than the Japanese counterpart!

I voted #3 this round, but it was a real toss up between her and #1. Reguardless, if either of those two get cast in the role, I'll be a happy man.

#4 has to be Stephanie Sheh. #3 is Michelle Ruff.

It seems that mostly everyone is either pulling for #1 or #3. So far the results for #1 and #3 are dead even at 45% each (when I voted).

My pick, #3.

meh...#3 sounded too mechanical to me.
my pick goes for #1
as of my vote...#1 has pulled ahead with 46% of the votes (gap of 8 votes)

...when are they going to get to the auditions for Kyon?

My guess is that Kyon's and Haruhi's polls will be one of the last ones. And I bet after Yuki's poll, Itsuki will be next.
