lmao..That was too much for me @.@ I read all the 11 sites in 10 minutes @.@
So, What I know now is that there are very very many entrys

And there will might be 2 versions of this MEP one original and one with the tracks that cant be in the MEP because it is already longer than 30 minutes, right? @.@

wow..and with all this rules it is pretty hard to make a vid @.@ I guess I'm not gonna enter =(

And I dont even really understand what this MEP is about @.@ silly me =P

So far, I have only received a few of the betas for the MEP, and some editors have dropped but I haven't taken their names off the list... just in case...

This MEP is kinda like the Valentine's Card section at the stationery store. There are different types of card categories (humor, love, friendship, deplore), and the clips being made for this are like the cards in those categories. You pick the category, you make the clip, and it gets put in the store. Kind of a simplistic analogy, but that's the best I can do on little to no caffeine.

As for the rules, I don't think there are too many. It does help to have things clearly stated so people don't have to redo things to match the quality of other clips in the project. The project as a whole should be uniform in video quality (IMO), and that's not too hard to achieve with a little research and work. If you need help learning how to improve video quality, there are people that would be more than happy to help, or at the least direct you to the information you need.

Length - I will try... TRY to keep it to 30 minutes, but if I receive 40 minutes worth of clips I will probably just make one full project. If I have to break it up into two projects, I will. Mostly this will be for rendering and hosting issues. Plus, a full hour of clips that are not all side-splittingly funny might not appeal to as many as 2 shorter bits.

If you want to enter, by all means, do!

Glad that you read through everything, too. Keeps my job simpler.

Oky, Now I got what It is about ^-^ Well, I would like to enter. But it seems like The only Animes I could use are FF VII : Advent Children, Elfen Lied and Chrono Crusade, Helllsing is absolutly nothing for valentin XD I would love to do a Elfen Lied Track, I promise I will keep it clean of everything *bad* Chrono Crusade would be cool, too, but I had to rip all the 24 Episodes from my DVD's and I think that would need to mcuh time and I havent seen all the episode yet, so I think it wouldnt be good to use it for me @.@ FF VII: Advent Children would be cool too..but..yeah..I guess i'm gonn a do a 100% clean Elfen Lied Track ^-^

Oh yes, when is the last date to send you the finished version/betas?
becuase I just get a new DVD drive tomorrow and I will have to rip all my Episodes from DVD first and I have to do my track for the SOAD MEP first

So..uhm..Do i have enough time?

Deadline for betas is January 22nd, so you have time.

Final version deadline is January 29th, but that's a little flexible at this point.

heh - I would love to see a Hellsing Valentine's vid, though.
