ah, well from 00:17 to 00:21, the sync continues on the left side. I was just enlarging the bright vs dark, with the eyes being the center point, and though I wish it was a little more visible, that's the logical progression of the expansion, methinks.

Things seem to be moving nicely. Everything has been said by someone else. G'nite guys!

I'd say this is 75 percent done. How do you guys like the general direction of it?
Very nice, man!
I have one question - where you placed those push effects - what did you sync them to?? :D
omegaevolution wrote: to Kaxi is beta, I noticed that when Rossette shake her butt, you missed some beats there, just telling you if you want to synch them XD, also in the circle part, the scenes of the center, could you tell me with what you are synching them O.o?
I don't think that i want to change that too much, maybe make it a little faster.
At the circle part, i synced to the fast high beats (i don't know how to name those).
omegaevolution wrote: to my beta, ..... I started it today, YAHOO!!!! XD, I will try to have my full beta ready for next week (this weekend will be a very busy one with my birthday LOL). Also, Kaxi, put there that my anime is "Tales of Eternia: The Animation", anyone know it? XD
Okay great! Ehh, look at the birthday-boy! :D
Okay, anime added.
guy07 wrote: Wow, thanks for all the feed back, i'm going fix the aspect ratio for the final kaxi don't worry, it's DVD footage so the quality won't be effected much if i zoom in. As for the white flashes, i was going to avoid these in this project to give it a cleaner look, i'll remove the overlay, i agree it sux. I also said i'd tighten the synch later, dont' worry. As for the woo woo, i guess i can zoom the objects which are in their original size and use a radial blue to mask the bad quality due to zoom.
As for a exessive effect, i was thinking like a spotlight effect thing, with 3-5 cookie cut circles with selected effects overlapping and moving around, ideas?
Okay, nice to hear that it won't be a problem.
Well, make the things you want, and we will see how it turns out :D

Greg's beta gets a HUGE  from me. Nice job, man! I think those overlays were synched to the girl's voice.

My only question: What's the point of zipping one file?

Greg: try synching the transitions of the overlays to the beat instead, and ur gona hate this one, try doing the black flashes for the rest of the video >_< or something to keep the synch constant, also, get rid of the boarders in the transitions. synch something to the woo woo. That's all i'v got for no. Keep the betas comming guys :D

Man, am I late getting to this thread, tonight. >.< I think what criticism I had for all of your betas has been mentioned already. Everything is lookin' good, so far. :D

Well, here's another beta to add to the bunch! Let me know if the colorful border thing is crappy...I wasn't so sure about it.

http://www.bigupload.com/d=DE8C722C

And to Kaxi: I used to have this letterboxed, but I decided to zoom in to make it the full 720x480, just to see if the quality would be good enough. It hasn't been smoothed yet or anything, so it will be cleaner, but do you think the quality will be good enough like this? Or should I just letterbox it...

Bigupload zips the file for ya, as long as it's a media file. I think they just add .zip to the end though, not actually zipping it. I usually zip it beforehand, if I use that service, so as not to confuse as many people lol.

Very nice stuff aerialesque! The quality is good too (although i can some pixelations at the borders, which won't appear if you send it in with high quality wmv or lagarith - i hope), there won't be any probs with that. The border is good too.
I think that it is good as it is right now, so everything can remain as it is.
Although you might consider adding some stuff, for example:
1. from 0:13 till 0:20, where the music speeds up, you should add some new layers to sync with the fast beats of the song (or flashes, some effects etc)
2.if the pixelation won't dissapeare, it might be better if you send it in 640x432, because it might be the final aspect ratio, we will see how the other segments turn out.

Nice aeri, i like it but my beef is at :03, for that blizzard scene i think u should synch to each syllable, even if it's just a over lay, i can see how u want to keep the synch slower because of the music but i think it would still look better.

Thanks, guys! Glad people seem to like it. The pushes are synched to that sorta windshield wiper sound you can hear between the beats.

And guy, how did you know I'd hate that suggestion? :p I don't want any seizure lawsuits, and I think it'd get repetitive, anyway.

All other criticism I'll try to address. I've still got a trick or two up my sleeve.

Ari, kick-ass stuff. The color border rocks, and I'm glad you took my suggestion of adding some pizzaz to heart :)

So Scott you were thinking about the white background. So... what do you all think:

Could this work? Or is it a too really big contrast to the rest of the MEP?
