im so weirded out by this attitude of "my videos arent good enough to upload here" mentality..

i mean, seriously do you people KNOW HOW MANY BAD VIDEOS ARE ON THIS SITE? there is no such thing as "not good enough" for here >.<

my first video listed on this site IS my first video i ever made... its crappy and choppy and just ICK but thats the way it is...

this site was meant to index every amv ever made :/ not "ever good amv ever made"

"only the good amvs go here, bad amvs arent allowed."

it's an offshoot of elietism, you get people that feel that there not good enough to be on the same site as the editors that everyone knows of so they put there videos up on youtube.

or at least that's how it is for me

It must be an issue of perception. Around here, the bad videos don't get nearly as many hits and opinions, as high star ratings, or as much discussion on the fora as the good ones do. Therefore, it's easier to forget they exist.
I'm of the impression that this is not so much the case on BoobTube.

You don't have to upload your videos here, but seeing as the primary purpose of the .org is to catalog every AMV made, at least enter it into the database.

Never underestimate the devotion of the staunchest fangirl or fanboy for anything related to a certain anime or musical artist. Plus, you made the video in the first place and must have thought it was at least decent enough not to immediately delete off your hard drive.

seriously the funny thing is when i found the tube, i thought the exact other way:

i only wanted my good videos on youtube, because id rather showcase my best work there than the crap i did in the past...

maybe thats why i find the attitude so odd.

O.o

of course now that the tube deleted one of my vids for coppywrite infringement, i took the rest down.

WATERMARK! but then again its just as distracting as subtitles.

I get tired of seeing Whisper of the Beast claimed to be maken by random people. So many people take clips from whisper of the beast, toushi, etc. Its really sad how people can't even make amvs that they have to steal from other people

You find more bad videos on the tube because the users are dumb, there like babies that are amused by jingling keys, so it's not diificult to make a video that will impress them and get a good rating, regardless of if it has good editing of even has subtitles in it. But when they see a video that is in the to 10% of the videos on the org they start foaming at the mouth because there not used to such good quality.

my point, not really sure, i just wanted to compare Utube users to babies
