Help?

Can anyone help me? I don't know how to get good shots from the animes that I want for my amv and it's really pissing me off. I read the sticky but that just told me what I already knew. I don't have any dvd's to rip and get off of, and I'm on a public computer so I can't do any of that. I'm just trying to put a good amv together quick but all I can get are still pictures and that's not good enough for the amv.

If you're asking where to download footage, that's against the Forum Rules. You're going to have to buy the DVDs - that's just the way it is :/

You can't put a good amv together quick. It takes time. Unless you practice a lot, you'll probably never be able to make something good in a short amount of time.

You can't really make amvs on a public computer, either. Most public computers don't let you download footage, download and install programs, or sit there for few hours putting the vid together and then exporting it.

It sounds like what you're asking is where to download clips to use in your "quickie" amv. You can't ask that question here. We don't condone using downloaded footage, and we don't allow links to places where you can download footage (or music) illegally.

Your best bet is to find a friend with a home computer, or save up until you can buy one of your own. Editing is a hobby that takes dedication - at least if you're hoping to put together something "good."

I should have added that editing can also be an expensive hobby for unlucky young people. If you aren't lucky enough to have parents who'll buy you a computer, you'll have to wait till you're old enough to get a job and save up to buy one for yourself. Sorry.

they arent being mean.... they are just telling you the truth...

most of the people on this site spent quite a bit of money on their programs/computers/dvds inorder to make those amvs that seem really awesome O.o

what you could do is set some money aside every month and save up for a computer... its not a great plan but it would work (worked for me and my first camcorder) and if youre too young to have a job, then mow lawns... do chores for neighbors... babyset @_@ theres ways to make money even as a kid
