most of the people on this site spent quite a bit of money on their programs/computers/dvds inorder to make those amvs that seem really awesome O.o


what you could do is set some money aside every month and save up for a computer... its not a great plan but it would work (worked for me and my first camcorder) and if youre too young to have a job, then mow lawns... do chores for neighbors... babyset @_@ theres ways to make money even as a kid

Yep, with all the crap I have ... I'm closing in on 5 grand ..... And I'm too old for my parents to buy me crap .... Jobs are a good thing.

I should have added that editing can also be an expensive hobby for unlucky young people. If you aren't lucky enough to have parents who'll buy you a computer, you'll have to wait till you're old enough to get a job and save up to buy one for yourself. Sorry.

Ok, let me say this now. I can't work because of the disabilities that I have. I can't deal with people very much so I can't work that much unless I'm friends with the people.

Yeah it's as easy as that. All u need is patience. Plus everybody here is trying to help so u don't have to get snippy. Just have patience I waited for like a year until I got my labtop.

considering some of the things i have seen with still pictures, i would agree that the whole "just still pics" can be done... but they take alot of time and patience, so it wouldnt be good for a "quickie"... i cant remember any off hand (titles) cept maybe what jay is doing with his recent work... but thats not done yet.

anyways..
your biggest problem is that you dont have your own computer...
even if it was a "family computer" that would be better than a public one...
(most public computers wont even have the "start" menu button)

it is against the forum rules to tell you where you can find downloads, because that is the policy of this site... they would perfer you support the industry that drives us, and i understand that. (not to mention the visual quality is usually so much nicer)

once again i will go back to the "save money" and be patient.
or suck it up and work with people who are crap. (i hate to say it but most of the rest of us have to work with jerks when we are working)

You can still make a decent vid with still images. If you know what you're doing, with the right effects, you can make a still image look interesting for a while. Even with WMM. I would recomend sticking to screen caps and promotion images by the company, but if you use fan art, make sure to credit the artist in the credits.

Not sure if this is an option or not, but you could always do like I did. Ask for the comp for Christmas/Birthday, use WMM until you find someone who would let you borrow Adobe Premiere to install on your comp. Of course, I also spent quite a bit of money on anime, but I've also borrowed quite a bit from a friend.

Yeah it's as easy as that. All u need is patience. Plus everybody here is trying to help so u don't have to get snippy. Just have patience I waited for like a year until I got my labtop.

Ok, let me clear something up. What I meant is that I really can't use still pictures because the song I have is fast and slow. So the editing of pictures is kinda hard. My mom will not get me comp. She promised to get me one with the income tax, not new, but one from a pawn shop. I didn't get it. None of my friends make amv's.
