Though that scene <i>is</i> really cute if you know it's the last one chronologically.

However, now that they're making a second season, I wonder if they have to determine where that episode will fit into the chronology of the rest of the canon? Since it wasn't taken from the original novels and all.

Interestingly enough, that 9th episode was actually scripted by the actual author himself, Nagaru Tanigawa, so I bet he took careful considerations into fitting it to the overall canon. And a couple novel readers said that this takes place before Volume 4 of the light novel.

Anyways, the page source now says this:

After looking closely at the contents, it's more likely the events in episode 9 happened somewhere in Volume 6.
