no no no I'm calling the guy who commented on my comment blind for thinking hes the only way to make a good video is matching the beats, and calling me an idiot, for simply stating, as rude as it may be "the video can do with out the zooming, its giving me a headache just trying to watch it"Prodigi wrote:so rather than leaving a comment which describes what you just said, and how he might improve it, you find it far more beneficial to say that it was shit, and it looks like total crap, and that he must be blind?
Wow.

eh, i do when it's an isolated case of crappiness(i don't mean that to be an insult) but when i go through like five or six videos, i tend to get less and less constructive. i have commented on one or two videos constructivly some people just go off the wall other people take my comments nicelyProdigi wrote:And replying saying that the video was shit, and that was total crap, just helped the situation.
In response to the original question:
Do youtubers have no sense of style?
I pose another question:
Do you have no sense of constructive-criticism?

I usta have the "if you don't create, don't bitch about it" mentality about stuff before I got into college. After having quite a few fine art classes and animation classes, I came to realize that attitude is a very close minded one. For example, I create a piece of art, display it. Let's just say, 50% of everyone who looks at it hates it. Now instead of challenging those people with "hey, let's see you do it", I let the "trolling" aspect of their comments just go on by, and take a look at what they're really SAYING. I would ask "what about it don't you like?" to see WHY. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, whether they are an authority on the subject or not, and a good creator (of anything) can take a bad opinion and turn that into constructive criticism.
I do have to agree with Prodigi in that if you're going to leave that kind of comment blasting someone's work, you might want to have something of your own lined up or have at least studied up a bit to know what you're talking about. I've tried to not talk too much smack since I don't have but one AMV to show for it ;)
And evirus, I'm not saying that you don't know what you're talking about, it seems as if you're getting the idea from watching others make crappy stuff. I hope to see a decent vid from you when you decide to crank one out. :)
perhaps a little off topic, but </rant>

actualy ive been meaning to do one but on account of time constraints and not having an editor on this computer... its not as if i can crank one out within a few hours, provided i can snag what ever editor my dad has on his computer i might be able to make one within a weeks time. luckily enough what im planning i have the DVDs for.HoshiNoKaze wrote: And evirus, I'm not saying that you don't know what you're talking about, it seems as if you're getting the idea from watching others make crappy stuff.
