you could always get one of those "CD cases" and keep them in there, thats what i do

(the backup's of downloaded amvs go on a spool)

I always accidentally delete them sometime between releasing the AMV and the time I planned to burn them.

(seriously, it's not a joke. Just ask the Telephone Project people)
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

I use DVDs. Just make sure you get the good quality stuff. Some of the cheap stuff may not last as long on the shelf as compared to the brand names. For archiving use the -/+R discs instead of the -/+RWs. They last longer, are cheaper, and since it's an archival copy, you don't need the rewrite capability. For the extra paranoid, use the 'verify' option in your burning software.

All of my files are saved in 3viX, even the RAW footage, so it's a cinch to fit a 13-episode series as well as all of my editing junk on a DVD.
Smaller filesizes + low budget = win for me! :P

I have to finish something first.

I keep the Huffy of the final video and all the avisynth scripts, but then again, I'm not exactly pressed for space.
