Kyo's Habit used to be on YouTube 5 or 6 times over from multiple people, 2 of whom claimed it was theirs. Some people are just hopeless. I've seen a ton of AMVs on Youtube not posted by the people who made the video, although to be fair, usually the person doesn't claim it. However, almost all the time, NO CREDIT is given to the original author, and the people commenting think the poster made the video, compliment him/her, and the poster does not correct them.

I've only added one amv to youtube that wasn't mine when I was just starting to make amv's early last year, I did not claim the video as my own.
A problem that occured with my amv's being added was with my very first amv being their own and I can't seem to find it in the search, i have also found other videos created by me on youtube, but no-one has claimed them their own.
Today I was bored and mangaed to find a person claiming decoy's raging soul video as their own, the member also says they would make more videos like it, to find the video on there search Bleach AMV headstrong, it was only added about a day ago.

i have no videos on here cant seem to get them on, so I youtube "lordtofu", but i had two of my videos stolen (because i put them on google with out a water mark or intro) and they didn't credit me on youtube, so i kept bothering them nine blockings and twelve fake accounts later BAM they were removed, see i beleive if they take your video, make their net life a living hell. seems creepy yes but I worked hard (or not) on that video, I recorded it on my computer and i think i deserve recognition for it, and so do you

problem with that is that many videos get stolen (especially well made ones) and sometimes people give them new names and erase and credits that show who made them so no one who doesnt already know it's stolen will find out easily, and because of the name change it's not easy for the actual maker to find it.The Lord Tofu wrote:i have no videos on here cant seem to get them on, so I boochsack "lordtofu", but i had two of my videos stolen (because i put them on google with out a water mark or intro) and they didn't credit me on boochsack, so i kept bothering them nine blockings and twelve fake accounts later BAM they were removed, see i beleive if they take your video, make their net life a living hell. seems creepy yes but I worked hard (or not) on that video, I recorded it on my computer and i think i deserve recognition for it, and so do you
Ive found several of my amvs posted on youtube right now by various people and honestly, so long as they dont claim that they made them i'm perfectly happy at them being there. sure the quality is crap but they've gotten a pretty decent amount of views and a few compliments. since the whole point of making amvs (at least for me) is to provide a bit of entertainment for people i dont have a problem with youtube helping that along

Haha, nevermind what I said, it seems google went and killed its video service.
If you now go to video.google.com all you get are links to tube videos rather than google video (which had much nicer screen quality, resolution and the ability to download the videos you watched).

hey stupid, that is a different story. Someone IMO was playing stupid as to amvers knowledge of certain videos is all. I've had people take credit for my work before, and anyone having the NEED to do that because they think my work is THAT good, and would make them look THAT good is a nice stroke to my ego.mangamannumber1 wrote:yeah seeing how you react when they put up one of someone elses and give them creditx_rex30 wrote:I wish I saw more of my videos on boochsack. Also might be interesting to see someone take credit for one of mine.
