Vegas 7.0 Retrieving lost stuff

Hey ppl i already made a post of this but this one is little bit different. Somebody told me if my file gets deleted i can use the bakup file for vegas 7 but today all my amv dissapeared including the bakup file. i still have the file but the amv it self is gone anyway to retrieve it back??

Like i was making an AMV and i still had my AMV saved file but the next day i opened my AMV file the whole thing was gone and it was only 5kb wen it was 200kb the day b4
