thos whoa re familiar with Honey and Clover will instantly recognize the same style in this, I beleive the same studio worked on it. It also has a very similar atmosphere, and lots of witty humor like formentioned ;p I'm enjoying the series so far , currently upto eps 4.
Its about a boy who wants to become a conductor, so hes studying different kinds of music, piano, violin, etc, and meets a rather odd girl who goes by the name Nodame ;p She has the ability to play anything after hearing it once, although she tends to take liberties with it, making mistakes here and there, but she cannot read sheet music well. Shes also very poor and VERY sloppy, you should see her apartment in episode 1
It puts EVERY room posted in the legendary Editors cribs thread to shame

However, even though she tends to make mistakes playing by ear, her playing resembles that of a song, and supposedly is very good, almost like shes making up her own version of the song rather than making mistakes. (I beleive the word cantible means something along the line of song, hence the name of the series)
He ends up finding a rather good violinist and tampest also by episode 4, makimg me think this is going to end up being about him finding all the components of an unsemble to play the peice he is writing as a conductor.
