but then again theres always dtesm... total crap shoved in a mep, made by some very good editors, some look like a child could make... and some how people read into it O:

what ruins an AMV for me is when they person uses the same scene over and over...i know it can be difficult dont use the same scene more then twice...

Tell me about it.

I used to know a guy who only made what I like to call "half AMVs" he did a fairly decent job on the first half and second half was just basically the first half...and it wasn't like once, it was like 3 times, like his "style" or something. He always reused the first half in the second half. >_> Ugh.

of course what i thinks ruins a vid in my eyes, too, especially with my own vids is the problem of ending a vid. like when you run out of time or cant figure how to end the vid...

this can be a useful tool if you know what youre doing, but rarely do people know what they are doing when they repeat scenes..

wmv. Yeah, I encode almost exclusively to wmv but it still turns me off when used by other editors -shrug-

Subtitles. (turnoff; I've gotten used to them over the years. D: )
