Eh, you had stuff like how they changed the Kyoto arc, the thing w/ Asuna, the filler episodes that weren't really that good, etc.

And yeah, I'm not happy at all with how they changed Nodoka's looks in the new anime. I watched the Natsu OVA and it reminded me of how hypersexualized Aeon Flux's style was, which isn't a good thing. It's a cute harem series with a heart, they should have stuck to the script and maybe had some quality control earlier on.

The sad part is, the first half was actually pretty damned good. It was only after ep 6 they started sliding (and I blame a BIG part of that on the character of Incognito.)
To this day, the worst 'big-boss' villain I've seen in an anime.
Good thing the new Hellsing Ultimate is plenty good.

Now if only the third episode would stop being delayed and come out already...

When I saw the Fullmetal Alchemist anime, I thought it was pretty darn good. When I eventually read the manga, I saw so much that the anime failed to use or didn't have at the time. Unlike some, I think BONES made a decent story from what they had, but that I would have loved to see certain subplots worked in, along with more faithful characterisation of some minor characters (Mustang's team, for e.g. got a terrible deal in the anime, mostly thanks to a single episode which depicts them as fools. Not so in the manga).

I've not read much manga that has anime based on it, so...that's my lot.

Since I know the story so well I just skipped to episode 70 something. Still boring at shit. It's the only series that I love the manga to but can't even tolerate watching the anime much less like it.
I loved the manga and it makes me sad that the anime didn't turn out as well. I guess I don't have too much to contribute to this thread because while I have an extensive collection of manga, I have nearly no anime. (I really only started buying anime last month) But from what I've read, that may be for the best.

Eat-manIt had two animes and the two suck. The manga explores far more the characters and has very interesting twist. The anime...no.

GantzMaybe someone is going to hate me but reading the manga is more exciting and the graphic quality is better.
