Belive it or not my first "test video" which will never see the light of the internet was made using downloaded fansub Mahou Sensei Negima (i thought it was funnier than the dvd stuff) and it worked fine. But the clips i took (using the guide on the site) from my friends hellsing dvds are the ones causing the trouble.

i downloaded avitricks and it kept tellin me to download a codec i already use so i redownloaded it and it still didnt work so i got rid of it

zwei-stein is hurting my head...
I cant figure out how to preview where the video is actually changing instead of just one frame while the audio plays on...

found out some of the things about zwei-stein so im sayin bye bye because it appaerntly can crash windows if you run it to long...

re-read this and thought it was vague so ill re explain: i have the codec, avitricks said i didnt, i redownloaded the codec, avitricks still said i didnt have it. now avitricks went bye-bye.

ill check back tomarrow morning on this, im goin to try to re-copy the video clips and see if it stops my crash problem...

get virtualdub and reencode your clips to huffyuv or lagarith (and when i say clips i mean make clips) they will make bigger files but one of those codecs should work in wmm..

DONT EDIT USING DIVX ENCODED CLIPS IN WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER (or any other editor for that matter)

found my problem. My friend had been using downloaded episodes that he made into .iso fromat and mounted on dvds.

I didnt notice this because he put in the disks himself and when i asked for them today I saw they were DVD-Rs.

Guess im outta luck till i find the real deal. >_<
