Most memorable moment in anime
Yeah so the subject is pretty self-explanatory. Name the moment or moments that you'll never forget in anime for whatever reasons they might be. I haven't seen that much anime in my lifetime so I only have three
1) When Hiei from YYH first uses the Dragon of Darkness Flame
2) When Goku and Vegeta first turn super-saiyan.

That's tough because most of my memorable moments come from reading mangas. If I even watch the anime, I've probably read the manga already... mangas are almost always better, same as books vs. movies.
I'm going to say Elfen Lied had some of my most memorable anime moments, partly because I watched it before I read the manga. There were a number of memorable moments, but the ones that stick out the most were probably meeting Mariko Kurama #35 (Holy ^#&@!), and just discovering Lucy's whole sordid backstory in the later episodes. Amazing stuff.

For me it was actually...
Real turning point in the series, still sends chills up my spine!Gankutsuou spoiler wrote:When the count says goodbye to Albert, second half of episode 15.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…
